If you keep yourself updated in the doggie world, it may be a little frightening to know how many recalls are made on food for our favorite four-legged family members.
In the most recent news, there has been a recall for a single lot of Stella and Chewy’s Chicken Freeze-Dried Dinner Patties for Dogs, 15 oz. bags, due to a detection of Listeria monocytogenes. There were no reported pet or human illnesses associated with this recall, however the company is voluntarily recalling all products from the lot (#111-15).
It was a big day for everyone for who participated in the Grosse Pointe South Mothers’ Club Spring Luncheon and Fashion Show.
For the first time ever, the fashion show featured not only high school students and human clothing, but four-legged friends and their clothing as well! Four “doggy models” walked the runway in Spring’s newest fashions.
October 24, 2014 - "Jamie Judson has tapped into her love of animals and her hometown of Grosse Pointe by opening a new pet store in the Village shopping district on Kercheval Avenue.
City Bark opened Oct. 10 at 17027 Kercheval in a 1,600-square-foot space advertised with a stylized metallic sign that is easily one of the most creative and eye-catching in the area.
Judson says the best way to describe her vision for City Bark is a farmer's market of pet shops, where the selection is always fresh and changing. It is the opposite of big chains and more comfortable than high-end boutiques."
